ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on a rotating DS/NS roster, DIDO to our Boddington Bauxite Mine located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).
As the Technician Maintenance Heavy Diesel you will be responsible for executing safe maintenance tasks on heavy diesel equipment, ensuring compliance with SAP processes, work schedules, and work instructions under the direction of the Supervisor Maintenance.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Adhering to safe work practices and procedures
- Capturing transactional data into SAP and executing work orders on schedule
- Contributing to root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase production
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance and major component change outs
- Strong attention to detail in recording and reporting maintenance tasks
- Experience working in a team while contributing independently when needed
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a commitment to safety and efficiency
Qualifications for this position are:
- Completion of Heavy Equipment Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with a nationally recognised trade certification
- Proficient in written and oral English
- Current C Class driver’s licence
