ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent role DIDO from Boddington mine site.
As the Technician Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for to safely execute maintenance work within the fixed plant as per SAP processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions as directed by the Supervisor Maintenance.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Ensure compliance to the SAP process for work execution and capture related transactional data into the SAP system
- Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions as directed by the supervisor maintenance or superintendent maintenance
- Monitor and review compliance and safety against established procedures and standards and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability
- Actively support and apply the company’s continuous improvement principles to minimize cost, maximize production
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Exposure to fixed plant maintenance with a minimum experience of 2 years
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Current C class driver’s license
- Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
Qualifications for this position are:
- SAP data entry, work order processing and warehouse functions knowledge
- HR Class Driver’s License
- High Risk Work License for Forklift
