About the Role
The role will involve being an active team member, providing support to the requirements of the work team, by adhering to operating requirements and striving for the achievement of individual, team, departmental and site objectives as directed. The purpose of this position is to contribute to the day to day operations of the Mine Safety Store and Working At Heights Shed
Accountabilities
- Issuing PPE to Mine Personnel
- Stock management and stock control
- Raising requisitions and reservations in 1SAP
- Testing and tagging of Working At Heights equipment in line with Site Standards and Statutory requirements
- Self and Long Life Rescuer inspections and testing in line with Site Standards and Statutory requirements
- Locker allocations and management of mine locker rooms
- Assists in developing and enhancing operating standards, procedures and work instructions.
- Reports events and hazards in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides feedback to Production Supervisor on improvement opportunities in Execution.
- Executes Production function improvement initiatives identified by Production A&I.
- Builds cross-functional relationships with the Operational sub-functions to support production.
- Participate in any other projects or key tasks as directed by line manager or delegate.
About You
Qualifications
- Additional preferred requirements: Intermediate computer literacy.
- Grade 12 completion preferable.
Experience & Technical Competencies
- Proven ability to demonstrate appropriate HSEC behaviors
- Ability to work effectively within the Olympic Dam operations and functional teams.
- Ability to communicate across multiple levels and disciplines

- Interstate and/or Intrastate travel may be required
