About the role
We are seeking experienced Signals Technicians to join our high-performing Signals team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical rail signalling assets—including the world’s first fully autonomous heavy haul rail system, AutoHaul.
Based in Dampier, this role is available on a residential or FIFO basis, working a 4 days / 4 nights / 6 off roster, offering a great balance between work and lifestyle.

Reporting to the Signals Supervisor, you will:
Safely execute planned maintenance and inspections on train control signalling systems and associated communications
Identify faults and deliver permanent, reliable solutions
Support Rail Network Renewal projects and improvement initiatives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and system performance
Maintain strong communication with key stakeholders including Train Control, Rail Operations, and Engineering
About you
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
A Grade WA Electrical License (or equivalent)
Certificate IV in Rail Signalling
Current Manual 'C' Class Driver’s License
Experience in Rail Signalling
Excellent communications skills; and proven ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and systems
It will also be beneficial if you have:
Knowledge of Vital, Radio, or IP-based communications systems
Understanding of work management principles and experience working with SAP

Where you will be working
Our integrated operations, which include port facilities, ensure we can supply the right quality product to our customers when they need it. We blend our products at our own ports, which allows us to produce a reliable and consistent product. And because we have dedicated shipping operations, we are able to better control the delivery of product to our customers.
We operate 4 independent shipping terminals at 2 locations, Cape Lambert and Dampier, managed as a single port system.
Dampier has terminals at Parker Point and East Intercourse Island, loading approximately 3 ships per day.
