Emeco Group (ASX: EHL) was founded in 1972 and is a world leader in maximising the performance of heavy earthmoving equipment. It has operations in all key mining regions of Australia and its customers include mining companies and contractors across coal, gold, copper, bauxite and iron ore.

We're on the hunt for a Systems Trainer to join our growing IT team. We are looking for someone who has a comprehensive understanding of system use and are able to transfer this knowledge into suitable training packages to be delivered on a site level.

The ideal candidate for this position will have substantial AMT exposure and will be able to support a substantial initial travel requitement on a national scale through the implementation phase, this will eventually move into a maintenance requirement of a few days a month.

The Role:

  • Design and develop training materials, including manuals, guides, e-learning modules, and presentations for core business systems such as AMT (CMMS)
  • Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of different departments and user groups within Emeco.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for employees at various levels.
  • Utilise a variety of training methods (e.g., workshops, one-on-one sessions, webinars) to accommodate different learning styles and accessibility of personnel.
  • Develop assessment tools to evaluate employees’ understanding and proficiency in using Emeco’s core business systems.
  • Analyse training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and adjust training programs as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates in existing and emerging digitisation and technology projects across the Emeco business.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve training programs and materials.
  • Work closely with Technology, HR, Training and Operational department heads to understand training needs and system updates.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to share best practices and promote continuous learning.

Your Credentials:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technology training role OR Asset Management related role
  • Proven experience in training users on business systems such as AMT, PowerBI, and MyOSH.
  • Communication Skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain seemingly complex technical processes in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Training and Facilitation Skills:
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Problem-Solving; Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills; Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • High level of patience and project facing empathy.
  • Capability of Traveling on a national scale is a must
