We are looking for a Third Party Risk Management Lead to support the Director of Third Party Risk Management and the Third-Party Due Diligence Operations Lead whilst being responsible for advising on Third Party Management Risk Strategy and leading operational components of the Group Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Framework.

Reporting to the Director of Third-Party Risk Management and working in a collaborative community, you will be:

  • Conducting due diligence: You will oversee in-country TPRM Managers and oversee coordination of in-country due diligence activities with the Third-Party Due Diligence Operations Lead while working with the business and ethics and compliance teams to identify and manage third party risks.
  • Monitoring key risk mitigations: You will oversee TPRM Managers monitoring the implementation of risk mitigations of select third party engagements and advise management of identified concerns in a timely manner.
  • Providing risk opinions: You will advise management and the Director Third Party Risk Management on practical matters relating to risk appetite setting and provide risk opinions of select this parties using your subject matters knowledge and experience.
  • Engaging with selected third parties: You will engage selected third parties to evaluate explain or train on Rio Tinto policies and procedures, as well as assist select third parties in completing information that Rio Tinto may require during the course of conduct due diligence on them.
  • Reporting to designated governance structures: You will support the Director Third Party Risk Management by preparing governance papers, and in certain cases, presenting at governance committees tasked with overseeing the Third-Party Risk Management Framework.
  • Support the Group TPRM Committee: You will closely work with the Director TPRM to plan, and convene the Group TPRM policy and risk appetite setting governance committee meetings

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated experience in ethics and compliance/or risk management, business intelligence and risk consultancy within a multinational organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in third party risk management for a global corporation
  • Possess the right to live and work in either Australia or Singapore
