We are looking for a Trades Assistant to provides support to the Mobile Maintenance Team, in a safe and efficient manner.This role is a great development opportunity to be a part of the Mobile Equipment Maintenance team who are responsible for executing planned maintenance activities. Working 3 days on, 3 nights on, 6 days off roster and reporting to the Mobile Equipment Supervisor, you will be required to:

  • Daily upkeep of the Workshop
  • Provide back up support to the Service Person
  • Processing oil samples
  • Stocking and monitoring consumables
  • Assist the maintenance team as required.

This role is only for applicants residing in Tom Price, Western Australia.

What you will bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • C class manual drivers licence (HR preferred)
  • High Risk Forklift Licence
  • Working at Heights, EWP and Dogging tickets
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • A strong safety comprehension and attitude
  • Currently reside in Tom Price or willing to relocate and find own housing.

Where you’ll be working

Tom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees. It is known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a high school, two primary schools a hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities.
