About The Role

We are looking for a Trade Assistant to provide general maintenance assistance to Fixed Plant, in a safe and efficient manner. This role is a great opportunity to be a part of the Fixed Plant Monitoring team who are responsible for executing maintenance activities.

Working a residential roster - 8 days on, 6 days off and reporting to the Engineering Services Supervisor, you will be required to:

  • Support Mechanical Tradespeople with repairs and maintenance
  • Safely prepare areas for maintenance turnarounds
  • Collate and deliver materials to the trade’s team
  • Collate and delivering equipment requiring repairs to the warehouse, safely cleaning the equipment first
  • Manage conflicting priorities and support the team in order for them to effectively complete their maintenance tasks

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • A C class Australian Manual Driver’s License
  • LF ticket (highly desirable)
  • Ability to build positive working relationships, work within a team and able to manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to maintain safe work practices and adhere to policies and procedures

What we are looking for

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Australian “C” class manual drivers licence or higher
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
  • A strong attitude towards safety
