We’re seeking a reliable Trades Assistant for an immediate start at our busy Mackay Force Workshop in Paget. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an orderly and safe yard and workshop, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Support tradespeople by organising and managing parts and assisting in general workshop tasks.
  • Operate a forklift to move and manage parts and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure workshop stores are stocked and parts are where they need to be.
  • Handle parts pickups, deliveries, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Force team to keep our workshop running efficiently.

Skills and Experience:

  • Australian Working Rights: Full rights to work in Australia without the need for sponsorship. 
  • Experience in Parts and Yard Management: Knowledge of managing parts stores and maintaining workshop areas is highly regarded.
  • Attention to Detail: Keeping things organised and presentable is key.
  • Driver’s Licence: Required for this role.
  • High-Risk Work Licence - Forklift: Must have or be willing to obtain.
