Due to ongoing growth within our Force Workshops in Mackay, we are currently looking for an experienced Stores/Yardsperson to join our team at Caterpillar Drive. Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties;

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide assistance for our Storeman
• Carry out parts pick ups and deliveries.
• Collection of parts from local suppliers
• Distribution of components to relevant bays
• Maintaining yard and organisation of store
• Safe delivery of materials onsite
• Ability to safely conduct operations in high traffic areas by following relevant procedures

Required skills / experience & attributes:

• A strong commitment to safety, health and the environment, with a proactive approach to housekeeping
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a role within a mechanical or engineering industry
• Current MR Licence (Highly Desirable)
• Driver’s licence
• Current High Risk Forklift Licence
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
• A keen eye for detail, presentation and craftsmanship.
