The Macmahon Underground team is seeking experienced Drill Fitters (and/or Heavy Duty/Diesel Fitters) to work FIFO on a 2/2 even time roster available from Perth to project site.

$30,000 SIGN ON BONUS available.

Key responsibilities:
 

• Service and maintain underground development and production drills – DD421, DL421, DS422, DL431, etc
• Assist when required, Heavy Duty Fitters to service and maintain all mobile plant either on site (underground) or in maintenance bay/workshop
• Take a lead role on the maintenance of the Gwalia drilling fleet, providing higher level knowledge and diagnostics to meet performance and availability KPI’s.

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Previous experience working underground on heavy mining equipment
• Knowledge and experience in the maintaining and fault finding of Underground drilling equipment.
• Be able to operate a light vehicle in an underground environment
• The ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
• Able to follow and adhere to procedures and compliance standards
• Time management skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• A demonstrated commitment to safety

Successful applicants must hold an Australian recognised Cert III Trade in the required field.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol screen, as well as providing a National Police Clearance.
