Trainee Tyre Technician

Work Location: Solomon

• Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

Roster: 7D7N14R - FIFO ex Perth or Karratha 

A unique opportunity to join our Tyre Fitting team at our Solomon mine site, with full on-the-job training and coaching provided. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• All aspects of tyre maintenance on heavy mobile equipment and light vehicles
• Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections to the required standard of performance and safety
• Work in accordance with Fortescue procedures and work instructions
• Absolute commitment to safety and following site safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team.

Education and Experience:

• Have a high regard to safety
• Current Drivers License
