Trainer and Assessor

Emeco Group (ASX: EHL) was founded in 1972 and is a world leader in maximising the performance of heavy earthmoving equipment. It has operations in all key mining regions of Australia and its customers include mining companies and contractors across coal, gold, copper, bauxite and iron ore.

Due to rapid growth and expansion within our training department we are now on the hunt for a Trainer and assessor to join the team.

The Role:

• Liaise with applicable site personnel to develop an annual training schedule
• Train and assess personnel
• Identify opportunities to upskill personnel and initiatives to increase productivity
• Deliver Nationally Accredited units of competence
• Liaise with site management regarding training processes and procedures
• Facilitate employee training and assessments
• Complete and maintain all training records accurately and upload records into the company’s training management system
• Participate in internal and external contractual audits required by the Registered Training Organisation
• Maintain currency of qualifications and relevant industry experience
• Assist in setting up the organisations new Training Facility and associated Training Packages
• Conduct HRW Licence Training and Assessments only in the HRW Classes for which you are accredited
• Training and upskilling in production critical equipment

About you:

• Current Drivers Licence
• High Risk Work License (HRWL)

• TAE40122 / TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 (including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent; OR hold Diploma TAE

• Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all layers of an organisation and with any stakeholder group
• High level organisational and communication skills
• Experience supporting maintenance / operations and use of heavy mobile equipment frequently used in the mining industry (preferred)
• Able to apply business, financial and technical strategic thinking concepts
• Ability to develop presentations and present to a group or a workplace
