ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent 9-day fortnight working arrangement – Worsley Alumina DIDO from Collie WA. As the Specialist Trainer Assessor this role will design, develop, deliver and assess operational training.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Coaches superintendents and supervisors in the field to ensure competency assessment standards are met and appropriate development interventions are identified where required
- Supports leadership and employees in appropriate interventions and strategies where LLN barriers to learning are identified.
- Assists risk and control owners to develop appropriate training tools for common material risks and identifies improvement opportunities to training and verification controls.
- Review performance of equipment/personnel and implement area training plans to close identified gaps in line with business drivers.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Strong internal and external customer service focus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to share knowledge and technical guidance
Qualifications for this position are:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Highly proficient/ subject matter expert in a minimum of one technical area with relevant qualifications
- Prior experience working within a similar role in a heavy industry environment
