Trainer - Learning and Development

The Macmahon Underground team are seeking an Underground Trainer to work 2 weeks on 2 weeks roster based in Perth.
The primary focus of the role is to co-ordinate the delivery of all operational training requirements across all of Macmahon's Underground Operations to ensure site personnel can perform their roles in accordance with site, industry standards and Macmahon policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements:
•    Current Cert IV TAE 
•    Minimum 5 years Underground experience
•    Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge 
•    Current Australian C class Driver’s License (manual)
•    Competent in operating various equipment with haul truck, loader and ancillary equipment as a minimum
•    Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels

Desirable but not mandatory requirements:
•    Certificate IV WHS
•    Frontline management certification/training
•    First aid certificate

Familiarity with Equipment on Site: (preferable but not essential)
•    Bogger - Sandvik 621
•    Dump Trucks - Atlas 5020
•    Normet – Charmec 1614B
•    IT Loader – Volvo 120
