About the Role
The WHS Advisor is accountable for coordinating, maintaining and improving safety activities to support the operations of Maules Creek and the CHPP.
Duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Assist in the maintenance of comprehensive WHS management systems
- Assist the CHPP Manager in managing health and safety including monitoring site compliance for audits, managing contractor safety and conducting incident investigations.
- Assist in facilitating risk assessments and job hazard assessments
- Demonstrate visible safe work practices and a commitment to safety in the workplace
About You
You are passionate about safety in the workplace and possess the following;
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or related discipline
- 2 years WHS experience (experience in the mining industry is highly regarded)
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to safety as a cornerstone to our success
