The Macmahon WAC Head Office is located near Perth International Airport, T2. The WAC Head Office hosts Macmahon’s centralised support services and operates as the centre of gravity for the wider Australian business.

Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced Training & Development Manager to join the WAC HSEQT team. Based at our office near the Perth Airport, you will be managing a passionate and committed team supporting Macmahon's onsite operations. Reporting to the General Manager – HSEQT, you will be responsible for leading the Training & Development function across Surface Mining, Underground Mining and Civil business units. 

The successful candidate will possess the following: 

  • 5 years’ experience in an equivalent role in both surface and underground mining environments 
  • Technical knowledge of underground and surface mining equipment operations 
  • Minimum Cert IV in Training & Assessment 
  • Experience in a management position in an RTO environment, ensuring RTO compliance 
  • Strong communication skillset with experience leading large teams 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and general digital skills 
  • Skills to Develop and oversee implementation of relevant educational resources guided by Operation needs 
  • Maintain partnerships with external Training Providers 
  • Ability to manage and develop a high performing team
