Training Specialist Health and Safety

Work Location: East Perth - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

Due to the new WHS Legislation a unique opportunity has arisen for a health and safety professional to work in the role of Training Specialist – Health and Safety, reporting to the Senior Manager Training & Development the role is responsible for delivering Statutory Appointment Training across Fortescue.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Training delivery of WHS statutory appointments
  • Training delivery of Fortescue safety initiatives
  • Development and delivery of safety leadership training

 Qualifications and skills required:

  • Diploma Health and Safety
  • Certificate 4 Training and Assessment
  • Minimum 2 years Safety mining experience
