About the role

In line with Barminco’s forecasted growth, we are seeking applications from experienced Transport All-Rounders at our Hazelmere Warehouse in Perth. As an experienced All-Rounder, you will be responsible for supporting the team with loading and unloading of general freight, pickups and deliveries and consigning freight with an emphasis placed on delivering high levels of customer service.

Key Requirements;

• Previous experience within the transport and logistics industry
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or storage facility (desirable)
• Local pickups and deliveries within the Perth metropolitan area
• Loading and unloading of general freight
• Securing and restraining loads
• Maintain all freight, parcels and documentation
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly
• Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (essential)
• Valid Australian HR Manual Drivers, and Forklift licence (essential)
• Working knowledge of the Chain of Responsibility, and all relevant legislation
• Excellent customer service skills, good communication, written and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) (desirable)
• Previous experience using freight booking systems to arrange collections and deliveries
• Be proactive in all EHS initiatives including reporting of all incidents, and potential safety hazards
• Working within a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• National Police Clearance (valid within the last six months)
