Aeris Resources is a base and precious metals mining company which produces Copper, Zinc, Gold and Silver from four mining operations based in Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. The Jaguar Operation is a 1km deep underground mine producing Zinc, Copper and Silver.
This role is based at our Jaguar mine site, which is located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie, comprises the Jaguar and Bentley underground mines, a processing plant and an exploration team.
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Underground Truck Driver to work with our team at our Bentley underground mine on a 14:7 roster.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Operate machines to achieve the required loads per shift to maintain production levels
- Demonstrate planning and preparedness to undertake assigned tasks
- To work well with other team members and demonstrate a willingness to be flexible and work in other roles if required
- Demonstration of excellent housekeeping standards. Ensure awareness of location within the mine and radio calls are maintained to ensure a continual smooth truck cycle is maintained
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Current & Valid Australian C Class Licence
- Rights to Work in Australia
- Ability to pass a PEM & DAS
- Reliability and good work ethic
- Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Requirements within a mining environment
