Truck Line Trainer
Work location: Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.
Roster: 8D/6R
Our Cloudbreak Mining team are currently looking for our next Truck Line Trainer to join the team on an 8/6 roster. You will be responsible for training and mentoring new Dump Truck Operators and trainees on site and conduct on going operator efficiency assessments.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Delivery Mining Operations Training and Assessing
- Delivery of FMG Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision
- Well organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to details skills
- Hands on approach to teamwork, positive attitude and superior customer service skills are essential
- Administrative and scheduling duties as required
Qualifications and skills required:
- Current Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment desirable
- Previous experience in a training or as a line trainer
- Sound experience operating dump trucks in a mining environment
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- SuccessFactors experience highly regarded
