What your day looks like:

• Perform scheduled maintenance inspections of equipment in accordance with the company and site procedures. Inspection of tyres and related components (e.g. rims) – checking for signs of damage and wear, air pressure inspections and measuring thread depths.
• Equipment Performance Optimisation: Identify opportunities for equipment performance optimisation, propose solutions and implement modifications or enhancements to improve equipment reliability and productivity.
• Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others. 
• Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.

What we’ll need from you: 

• Minimum 2+ years as a Tyre Fitter on a mine site (mandatory)
• Certificate II Tyre Fitting and Tyre handling
• Forklift / Tyre handler operation competency
• Must have full working rights within Australia
• High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
• Strong analytical mindset and solution focused attitude
• Current HR Drivers Licence
