The Greenbushes project is located in the picturesque South West region of Western Australia in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. Our client, Talison Lithium, is the world’s leading lithium minerals concentrate provider and the Greenbushes project is recognised as containing the world’s highest grade and largest hard rock deposit of the lithium mineral spodumene. Macmahon is pleased to deliver surface mining operations at the project from 01 July 2023.
 

Macmahon is seeking expressions of interest for Tyre Fitters to join the Greenbushes team on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) basis on a 2:1 roster with camp-based accommodation.

Machines onsite include: 
•    Excavators: Hitachi EX3600 & Hitachi EX2600.
•    Trucks: Caterpillar 785; Caterpillar 777 & 785 Water Trucks
•    Loader: Caterpillar 988 & 992 
•    Dozers: Caterpillar D10T
•    Graders: Caterpillar 16M

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
•    Previous experience in a similar role on a small to medium scale mining project; 
•    Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Tyre Fitter and Handling; 
•    Knowledge of and experience working on heavy mobile plant; 
•    Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team; 
•    Great interpersonal and communication skills;
•    Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values; and 
•    Current Drivers License.
