About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, as the Auto Electrician, you will be repairing and maintaining an extensive fleet of trucks, loaders, drills and other underground equipment.
You will carry out quality service and preventative maintenance to the fleet as well as perform a high level of breakdown support to our operation.
About You
Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in 2005. One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production.
Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant. Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally. The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.

About You
- Auto Electrical trade qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in underground mining industry working on heavy machinery or a similar field
- Well-developed fault finding skills
- Air conditioning accreditation and experience essential
- Experience with Sandvik underground development & production drills (highly desireable)
- Experience with Caterpillar 2900 loaders and Sandvik LH 621 Loaders (highly desireable)
- Experience with Sandvik and CAT trucks (highly desireable)
- High standard of work quality
- Be self-motivated and have a team orientated approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- 7/7 Day/Night rotating roster
- $115,000 to $147,000 base salary dependent on experience/qualifications
- Travel allowances
- 6 Weeks Annual Leave
- Meals & Accommodation provided by the company OR $15,000 Net Residential Allowance to reside locally
- Annual Tool Allowance
- Short Term Incentive Program, reviewed quarterly
- 8 Year Mine Life - working direct for the Mine Owner/Operator
