Job Tasks and Responsibilities
The Development Electrical Coordinator will work closely with the Development Engineer to design, install, commission, overhaul and maintain Development plant and equipment at the mine. The role will work in collaboration with the Underground Electrical Engineering Manager, Development Mechanical Coordinator, Development Maintenance Planner and Development Overhauls Engineer as well as manage and mentor the Underground Development Electrical Tradesman and Supervisors.
- Work with the Development Maintenance Planner to schedule short to medium term maintenance for the development plant.
- Assist in the management of major component repairs and overhauls, ensuring a timely and cost-efficient result.
- Implementation of effective maintenance systems to ensure equipment downtime is minimised.
- Assist in the introduction to site processes for all plant Development plant and equipment.
- Review applicable Work Orders and action defects as required.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Experience in a Supervisory position.
- SAP maintenance system experience.
- A thorough understanding of maintenance and repair of modern development mining equipment.
Skills:
- Maintenance planning exposure.
- Basic understanding of the WH&S (Mines) Regulation.
- Demonstrates detailed electrical knowledge of modern mining equipment.
- High level knowledge of electrical aspects associated with modern mining equipment.
- Sound understanding of the Developmnet operational prcess, infrastructure and requirements.
