UG Mine Technician - Prep Crew

Overview

We are currently seeking Underground Mine Technicians to join our team based at Cadia during an exciting period of transformation. Reporting to the Supervisor – Cave Establishment you will be responsible for prepping of all production blast holes and production blast sites with particular emphasis on Occupational Health & Safety, continuous Improvement and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment.

About You

We are looking for safety focused and team-oriented individuals who have:

• A strong attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety
• Sound knowledge of underground metalliferous mining
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in assisting production charging (highly desirable)
• UHL or the ability to obtain and a working at heights ticket (highly desirable)

Please note: This is a residential role, fixed term until November 2025. You will be required to work a 7 days on/7 off/7 nights on/7 off roster (12-hours per day, Thursday – Wednesday).
