About the Role
Working on Caterpillar R1700, R2900 loaders, Sandvik drills, Epiroc MT65 trucks, and other mining equipment, you will be working within the site workshop and out in the field, conducting preventative maintenance, component change outs, diagnostic work and breakdowns.
Duties and responsibilities:
Jaguar Operations is an established underground zinc, copper, gold and silver mining operation located 65km north of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. It was acquired by Aeris Resources in July 2022. The Jaguar Operations tenement package spans a 410km2 area and hosts multiple favourable stratigraphic horizons along a 50km corridor.
Operations include an underground mine at the Bentley deposit utilising open stoping methods and a 600ktpa processing plant producing copper and zinc concentrates with precious metals by-products. Concentrates are trucked to the Geralton for export to customers internationally.

About the Role

Duties and responsibilities:
- In field servicing and breakdown repairs
- Preventative maintenance and defect repairs
- Fault finding - inspect, identify and diagnosis of mechanical malfunctions
- Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and SOP's, JSEA’s
- Participate in shift changeover and collect information for upcoming shift tasks
- Promote an enjoyable, safe and productive work environment
- Diesel, Plant or Heavy Automotive Trade Certificate
- Strong Caterpillar, & Sandvik Drill experience
- Preferably 2 years’ post trade experience working in heavy machinery, agriculture, civil, construction or mining environment
- Be self-motivated and have a team orientated approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Air con ticket highly regarded
- High Risk forklift ticket (desirable)
- Possess a National Police Clearance (6 months validity)
- Current C Class manual drivers licence
