Aeris Resources is a base and precious metals mining company which produces Copper, Zinc, Gold and Silver from four mining operations based in Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. The Jaguar Operation is a 1km deep underground mine producing Zinc, Copper and Silver.
This role is based at our Jaguar mine site, which is located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie, comprises the Jaguar and Bentley underground mines, a processing plant and an exploration team.
We currently seeking suitably qualified candidates for the position of experienced Underground Fitters for a 8/6 Dayshift, 7/7 Night roster FIFO from Perth.
Working on R1700, R2900, Sandvik drills, Epiroc MT65 trucks, and other mining equipment the successful candidate will be working within the site workshop and out in the field, conducting preventative maintenance, component change outs and diagnostic work.
Duties and responsibilities:
- In field servicing and breakdown repairs
- Preventative maintenance and defect repairs
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and SOP's, JSEA’s
- Promote an enjoyable, safe and productive work environment
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Diesel, Plant or Heavy Automotive Trade Certificate
- HR Drivers Licence
- Strong Caterpillar, & Sandvik Drill experience
- Air con ticket, forklift ticket and aircon licence highly regarded.
- Previous experience within an underground FIFO environment (desirable)
