Underground Fitter

Duties will include:
- Installing mechanical plant and equipment
- Fault-finding and repairing mechanical plant and equipment and hydraulic systems
- Maintaining mechanical plant and equipment as required
- Assist with production when required
- Participating in maintenance planning activities
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Mechanical trade qualifications
- Experience working in heavy industry
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to participate in risk assessments and manage risk
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety as a way of life
The lifestyle: This positions we have on offer are fixed day or night shift with a total of three shifts per week. The location of the mine is close to Singleton, NSW allowing for a residential lifestyle.
