About the Role
Working in the Mechanical Maintenance Workshop, you will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance of all mobile plant equipment by running diagnostic testing and servicing diesel engine vehicles. Your duties will include oil changes, testing engine safety, part upgrades, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing faults. Team members are expected to demonstrate a focus on safety, achievement, and team engagement in all aspects of their work. Cliffs Site:
Cliffs is located approximately 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Cliffs underground Nickel Mine is an integral part of Nickel West Leinster comprising of a nickel concentrator and dryer, located 12 kilometres south of Nickel West Mt Keith.

About You
- Trade Qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
- Minimum 5 years of mining experience, including 3 years of underground experience in Australia and/or overseas
- Equipment manufacturer experience such as Caterpillar loaders (R1700 and R2900), Epiroc trucks (MT65), Epiroc Simba S7D, Sandvik drill rigs (DD421, DL431, DS421), and Normet equipment is preferred
- Hydraulic fault-finding experience would be advantageous
- Computer literacy and/or experience in 1SAP
- Experience in an underground mining operations environment is essential
- A current "C" Class driver’s license or national equivalent
- Dogging, Rigging, and Forklift Licenses are desirable but not essential
