Job Tasks and Responsibilities

This role will be on the mines weekday or weekend roster and consists of:

• The supervision and management of mechanical engineering activities.
• Provide mentoring and technical support for the mechanical trades on shift.
• The safe and efficient execution of production and engineering plans with detailed review and reporting.

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

• Mechanical trade qualifications, engineering qualifications will be highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with longwall systems.
• Planning, decision making and prioritization attributes.
• High level knowledge of mechanical aspects associated with operation and maintenance of modern mining equipment.
