Integra Underground is a coal mine operation located near Singleton in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.  This convenient location allows our employees to be based all around the Hunter Valley including Newcastle.  

Integra is currently seeking suitably experienced and motivated Mechanical Trades to join the underground team.  Reporting to the crew supervisor on shift, you will be an integral crew member driving performance through efficient maintenance processes.
 
You will ensure the effective maintenance and fault-finding work on mechanical systems and have experience working on underground coal mining equipment including;

• Joy Development Equipment
• CAT Automated Longwall Systems
• Underground and Surface Conveyor Systems
• Compressed Air and Water Management infrastructure

As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you will have a mechanical trade qualification with exposure to Mining Operations essential.  Experience working in Underground Mining, preferably coal is highly desirable.  You will have a demonstrated understanding of risk management processes and the use of safe work procedures. You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible can-do attitude and sound work ethic. A commitment to personal and process safety is critical for these roles. 
 
This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit Engineering and Maintenance team at a mine conveniently located in the Hunter Valley.
