Underground Nippers and Truck Operators

New year, new career? Pit N Portal are currently seeking Underground Nippers and Truck Operators to commence immediately and in Jan 2023! There are multiple positions vacant for experienced and entry level candidates across various site in the Goldfield Region.

Please note: these positions will involve both Nipper and Truck Duties - and will not be limited to one single role. These roles are highly physically demanding and involve a high degree of repetitive tasks. Please consider this prior to applying.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience working in an underground mining environment desirable  
• Previous work experience in a manual labour-intensive role – i.e.; farming, trades, offsider, labourer, etc.
• Strong work ethic and commitment towards safety 
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills 
• Current Working at Heights Certificate (essential)
• WA Dangerous Goods Security Card or willing to obtain (essential)
• Valid C Class Driver's Licence
• National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen 
• Working Rights within Australia
