About the Role
The Production Drilling Miner role is an exciting opportunity to join the Underground Production Team. This role will see you undertaking production drilling activities within the Drill and Blast department to safely and efficiently achieve department targets. The scope of this role will include the drilling of Up and downhole production blast holes, cable bolt holes and service holes.
In this demanding role you will be expected to have strong communication skills in order to develop and promote effective working relationships across the shift and with other departments.
The successful candidate will be someone that has initiative, is self-motivated and has the ability to work well in a team environment. To be considered for this role you will be required to have or able to obtain competencies in operating drill rigs.

About You
- Experience in or significant exposure to underground drilling practices is essential
- Previous underground mining experience is essential.
- Previous experience in functional area is desirable, but not essential.
- Proven ability to demonstrate appropriate HSEC behaviors
- Ability to work effectively within the Olympic Dam operations and functional teams.
- Ability to communicate across multiple levels and disciplines
