Underground Project Manager

About the Role:

Pit N Portal currently has an opportunity for an experienced Project Managers at our WA based, underground mining operations, working an 8 & 6 roster.

With a focus on improving the safety culture, the ideal candidate will lead and enable our team to achieve and exceed industry performance benchmarks.

We are looking for candidates who will champion Emeco values and challenge the workforce to perform their daily duties and support conventional career development plans. They will demonstrate problem solving and analytical competencies drawing on their numerous years leading multi-disciplinary teams in the underground hard-rock domain.

Skills & Experience

• Hight safety focus
• Extensive experience in a similar Project Management role, within the underground-mining production sector
• The ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of roles and functions across the organisation
• Demonstrated experience within a contracting environment
• Proven track record in managing and leading multi-disciplinary teams across multi-site operations
• Demonstrated commitment to deliver results
• Ability to manage stakeholders, in conjunction with company values and code of conduct
• Clear and concise verbal skills / proficient English reading and writing skills
• A high level of flexibility to adapt to changes as necessitated by the business
• Degree or qualification in Mining or Engineering (Highly desirable)
• WA Shift Supervisor Certificate
• C Class Manual Licence
• National Police Clearance, within 6 months
