Underground Pump Fitter

We are currently seeking Pump Fitters - WA Operations (FIFO) to join our maintenance department.

With over 5,500 employees, the Byrnecut Group is a full service underground mining contractor, providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia and Internationally. We operate a multi-million dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions.

Duties:

• General servicing and repairs to U/G Dewatering Pump Systems
• Mono and centrifugal pump servicing, rebuilds and repairs
• Report to Maintenance Foreman on daily activities

Requirements

• Experience maintaining Mono or centrifugal type pumps highly regarded
• Mechanical Fitter, Machinist or Boilermaker qualified tradesman - Preferable
• Must have the right to work in Australia
• Current and Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Preferred candidates to reside in Western Australia
• Experience in an underground maintenance environment is preferred but not essential
