Underground Shift Supervisor

Pit N Portal are currently seeking an Underground Shift Supervisor at our WA based operations,with paid flights offered from all Australian capital cities.

The Shift Supervisor role at Pit N Portal will provide the opportunity to utilise your experience and strengths to date, but also to learn and further progress your career in Underground Mining. You will work alongside experienced, dedicated and passionate industry professionals in an environment that is collaborative, dynamic and outcome focused, and where the safety of our people is at the forefront of everything we do.

What are we looking for in a Shift Supervisor?

• Operate with and drive a ‘safety first, safety foremost’ mindset and lead by example in this regard
• Hold a WA Underground Supervisors Certificate
• Experience in a Shift Supervisor role, within the hard-rock, underground-mining production sector 
• Demonstrated experience in working to and meeting project deliverables, objectives and targets
• A strong track record in supervising & leading a team, with the ability to motivate and drive successful outcomes
• Solid and personable communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative and successful working relationships with your team
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite 
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
