About the Role

Macmahon Underground is seeking a safety-focused Underground Truck Operator to haul materials efficiently while following strict safety procedures. You will operate trucks, complete inspections, and report issues. This role suits someone reliable, safety-driven, and able to work independently in an underground environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground haul trucks to safely transport ore, waste, and materials to designated locations
• Conduct pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment
• Follow all site safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, or equipment faults
• Work closely with the underground team to meet production targets and maintain efficient operations

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience operating Epiroc MT65, Sandvik TH663i, or CAT underground trucks (highly desired)
• Ability to mange over-speeds and brake violations
• Ability to manage fatigue and hydration throughout shift
• Valid manual C Class Australian Drivers Licence (Essential).
• Working at Heights, Dangerous Goods Security Card and First Aid Certificate (highly desired)
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential
• Strong safety focus, and detailed knowledge of underground mining and regulations.
