The Warehouse & Procurement Officer position is to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operation of the Deflector Warehouse facility.

Deflector Site Overview
Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector South West deposits.

The purpose of the Warehouse & Procurement Officer position is to ensure safe, effective, and efficient operation of the Deflector Warehouse facility whilst providing the necessary customer support to key stakeholders to ensure business continuity and to ensure stock is ordered and delivered to site in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Operate forklift within design and safety specifications.
- Utilise inventory and procurement systems ie: Pronto as per company procedures.
- Inventory Control – ANSI stock code creating, review stock MIN/MAX, slow-moving & obsolete stock.
- Inputting bulk stock adjustments e.g. periodic supplier price increases.
- Procure / source items when requested.
- Reordering stock as required and ensuring orders are consistent with details on supplier quotes to maintain accurate records
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve queries and shipping issues.
- Assist Accounts team with invoice enquiries and receipting
- Purchase order expediting and updating of system accordingly
- Raise monthly Warehouse and Site’s purchase orders.
- Liaise extensively as required with all stakeholder to ensure an uninterrupted supply of goods.
- Identify specific areas that have the potential for improvement and cost savings.
- Participate in and utilise the change management process for identified problems and opportunities to make improvements.
- Assist Supervisor with all month end reporting such as stock evaluation reports & mining stock movement reports
- Continued warehouse maintenance of maintain good housekeeping and identify improvements to the warehouse. contact potential suppliers to check product quality / pricing / lead time etc.
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a store person, in a mining environment.
- Proficient user of inventory and procurement systems such as Pronto.
- WA Driver’s License (manual C Class)
- Forklift Licence
- Dangerous Good Licence
