Warehouse Leading Hand

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Leading Hand to join our Distribution Centre team based in Mackay. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced people and be responsible for the following;

• Managing jobs and supporting a small team in achieving daily targets
• Coach and Motivate Employees, leading warehouse pre-starts and document control
• Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
• Manage Stock Control and reconcile with data storage system
• Plan workloads and assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Working with Emeco/Force customers to meet company objectives

We are looking for

• 5+ years leadership experience in a fast-paced warehousing leadership role
• High Risk Forklift ticket
• MR Licence; highly desirable
• Certificate IV in Warehousing and Logistics; highly desirable
• A strong commitment to safety
• Strong analytical skills with a solutions focus
• Strong leader with the ability to mentor, coach and delegate tasks
• Experience and knowledge of mining equipment industry
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
