Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator

We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to join our Maintenance Support team in Gunnedah on a permanent full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be required to perform a broad range of duties including but not limited to the following; 

  • Champion specialised tooling register
  • Conduct stocktaking counts to approved schedules
  • Safe freight unloading / forklift operation
  • Freight dispatch- including core returns
  • Materials handling equipment pre-starts
  • Warehouse pre-starts ensuring safe work environments, security of Warehouse locations and no unapproved movement of inventory items
  • Perform slow moving / obsolete stock review and make action recommendations
  • Liaising with logistics and warehouse coordinators to ensure components are dispatched from storage
  • Branch transfers – ensuring "In Transit" bin locations are updated for components when they arrive
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and local transport providers
  • Co-ordinate daily general freight bookings with cost efficiencies

We are looking for 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a parts interpreter role preferable
  • A 'Can Do" attitude 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Excel 
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Mining Industry or with Heavy Earthmoving Equipment 
  • Adaptable to change and willingness to accommodate a flexible approach to daily duties 
  • High attention to detail and drive to get things right 
  • Strong organisational and planning skills 
  • effective communication skills 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and the ability to gauge importance / urgency of matters as they arise and make independent decisions on action to be taken 
  • Ability to work as part of team and support the objectives of the team 
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and team orientated work environment
