Warehouse Officer

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, career driven Warehouse Officer to join our operations based in Hazelmere.

Once an initial 6 to 12-month period in the role is successfully completed at our Hazelmere Warehouse, the position will become site based. As our sites are remote, this will require you to become a fly in / fly out employee, with a number of different roster options. With this in mind, we are only seeking expressions of interest from those who are interested in working in a fly in / fly out position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually and mechanically assist with daily loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight
• Accurately document Dangerous Goods to ensure compliance with the current DG legislation
• Loading and unloading of Explosives via Magazine
• Maintain a safe work environment in accordance to Company policies and procedures
• Assist with daily Stores duties, including goods receiving, stocktaking and stock control processing

Minimum Requirements:

• Some experience with a warehouse environment would be highly regarded
• The ability to move into a FIFO position within 12 months of commencement
• You must hold a valid manual drivers’ license and forklift ticket
• Be computer literate with the ability to use the Microsoft Suite of products
• An understanding of the process of receipting goods
• Have a demonstrated proactive workplace health & safety behaviours;
• A positive attitude toward work and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using SAP would be advantageous
