Cadia Valley Operations is in Central Western New South Wales, approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional township of Orange and a convenient three hours from the capital city of Sydney. Employees reside in varied accommodation options in and around the district of Orange with the surrounding area’s occupied by wineries, stone fruit orchards, farming and national parks.

Who we’re looking for:

Reporting to the supervisor of Warehouse Service Delivery, you will create a positive and proactive culture both within the warehouse operations team and with key customers on site.

You will have a drive to lead the speciality warehouse tasks whilst supporting the safety management system. You will ensure a safety-first culture with a focus on truck driving.

Other responsibilities include:

Supply and Warehousing Duties:

  • Support the handling and accurate management of materials goods in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure goods materials and services received, stored, and accounted for accurately through the use of the SAP system.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Deliver goods to multiple stakeholders across site
  • Ensure the timely delivery of all scheduled parts through an efficient and well managed kitting and staging process using the WMS (Right Part, Right Place, Right Time).
  • Completion of stocktaking as per audit requirements and in compliance with Supply Procedures.
  • Assisting with other warehouse duties as required.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous significant mining warehouse experience with the relevant tickets and technological experience.

Safety:

  • Supporting the Safety Management System ensuring a safety-first work culture.
  • Ensuring adequate pro-active monitoring to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure all critical controls are in place before conducting any high-risk task and conduct PTHAs prior to conducting any task.
  • Maintaining safety standards to a level that ensures yourself and colleagues are hazard free and work in a healthy environment.
  • Reporting all hazards, incidents and non-compliance.
  • Supporting and drive NewSafe behaviours.
  • Adhere to all Heavy Vehicle Regulations

You will also possess the following:

  • HR License – Essential
  • Forklift License – Essential
  • Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods Awareness
  • Chain of Responsibility Training
  • NHVR Fatigue Management Training
  • Previous warehousing experience
  • Mining experience – Desirable
