Warehouse Officer
Work Location: Iron Bridge - Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people
Roster: 7D7N14RNR - FIFO ex Perth
Iron Bridge is Fortescue’s US$2.6 billion project, set to deliver 22mtpa of high grade 67% Fe magnetite concentrate product. Located 145km by road south of Port Hedland, the mine will deliver an innovative process design and industry-leading energy efficient operation.
Iron Bridge represents Fortescue's latest operation culminating in a new Ore Processing (OPF) and Concentrate Handling Facility (CHF), new technologies and camp facilities.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, our Warehouse Officers provide direct day-to-day Warehouse operational support, by delivering effective & efficient Warehousing & distributions whilst maintaining a zero-harm environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commitment to and demonstrating our Fortescue values
- Providing superior customer service, and maintaining professional relationships with customers, stakeholders & the team
- Effective and accurate picking/counting/receipting practices
- Accurate and timely SAP transactions
- Prompt attendance at all issuing counters, compliance with work schedules for all pickup/delivery goods
- Attention to detail when matching released parts with the quantity requested
- Scoping continuous improvement opportunities
- Identify and report any receipting discrepancies through the Quality Management process
Qualifications & Characteristics required (training will be provided):
- HR & C Class License
- Forklift High Risk License desirable
- Good communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude
- SAP and Microsoft Office experience desirable
- Ability to work in a remote location and a team environment (autonomously as required)
