Title: Warehouse Officer Experienced

Work location: Perth based (Hazelmere)

Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)

In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet

Based out our new Hazelmere R&D facility and reporting to the Consolidation Supervisor, we are presently looking for Warehouse Officers to join the Green Fleet team

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Accurate receipt and storage of incoming parts
  • Accurate picking, consolidation and delivery of parts and consumables to end users
  • Safely loading and unloading freight, including load restraint.
  • Accurate binning and recording of non-inventory items.
  • Maintaining a high level of safety awareness both for themselves and those around them.
  • Assist with Cyclic Stock take program.
  • Auditing of non-inventory items on a cyclic basis
  • All facets of housekeeping
  • Correct raising of dangerous goods transport documentation

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Demonstrated previous Warehouse experience 
  • LF High-Risk Licence (operating 2.5t, 5t & 16t machines)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a team environment
  • Good transactional use/understanding of SAP is essential
  • Experience in MS office suite
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
