Our name ‘Aeris’ comes from the Latin word for copper, which is where our story began.  We are an ASX listed diversified mining and exploration company with copper and gold operations in Australia.  Our expanding portfolio, development projects, and exploration prospects make Aeris an exciting, growing company.

The Operation
Mt Colin is a copper and gold mine approximately 50 km east of Mount Isa in North West Queensland.

The operation consists of an underground mine and surface infrastructure, producing approximately 450,000 tonnes of ore each year, yielding approximately 10,000 tonnes of copper and 5000 ounces of gold in some 50,000 tonnes of concentrate.
  
Ore is mined underground using a specialist underground mining contractor and hauled to surface where it is crushed on site before being transported by road train to the Ernest Henry processing facility north of Cloncurry for toll treatment.
