ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position DIDO daily, from our Boddington Bauxite Mine Site.

As the Specialist Work Management Planner, you will be responsible for developing & communicating the plans and schedules in accordance with the Work Management processes, organisational compliance to risk management processes and the Australian industry standards and procedures.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Plan and Schedule work orders using SAP in accordance with South32 work management process to ensure safe execution of work for all employees & Contractors to maintain a safe and reliable plant.
• Monitor & manage preventative and corrective work strategies including statutory plans for safe and effective deployment of resources & materials management
• Develop project maintenance plans, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with the maintenance planning procedures.
• Facilitate the creation of weekly schedules that is aligned to work management activities aligned to production plans and milestones.
• Ensure timely procurement of all necessary parts, subcontractors, and external services, ensuring availability as per requirement.
• Generate maintenance history, data, and information, collaborating with Technical Support to analyse downtime occurrences and equipment reliability.

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:  

• Maintenance of large hydraulic excavators, heavy mobile, and ancillary equipment.
• On-site experience in a comparable Mobile Maintenance planning capacity
• Sound understanding of life cycle costing and budgeting principles.
• High level of competency using SAP PM and MM modules.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, and other Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications for this position are:  

• Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or similar trade qualification.
