Work Management Specialist

Work Location: All Sites

Roster: 8d6r or 4d3r (depending on projects)

The key focus of this role is to deliver business objectives safely and reliably from a maintenance development point of view.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct classroom/ one on one/ teams training for all work management process including Planner Fundamentals & Supervisor Fundamentals Courses.
  • Ensure the processes and systems necessary to achieve effective and efficient asset management are robustly and comprehensively implemented.
  • Provide resources for implementation of standards.
  • Conduct internal monitoring processes of compliance to the AM system at the site.
  • Encourage discussion and exchange of ideas with a view to challenging traditional ways of doing things and exploring better ways.
  • Develop through the application of an effective learning strategy and process to ensure all work is done safely, efficiently and to the highest quality.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining management processes and systems for regular audits on the asset management system.
  • Perform Internal and external audits which will identify performance gaps and opportunities, maintenance leadership will use the audits results to solve problems effectively and achieve continued sustained improvements in asset management practices.
  • Develop and maintain efficient work management processes for best practice low-cost maintenance.

Support to new Systems and Processes:

System innovations that have been implemented into the business require support to ensure they continue to add value and run without interruption. These include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance Budgeting (ACLM)
  • SAP (Systems Application Program) Fiori
  • BOM (BILL OF MATERIALS) Review Tool
  • Task List Review Tool
  • Dashboarding
  • Reporting
  • S/4HANA
  • Mobile solutions for Maintenance
  • SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) BAU (Business continues to run) to ensure enhancements and innovations are investigated.
  • Interfacing with other SAP Modules
  • System testing on SAP PM enhancements packs.
  • System testing on system improvements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous Work Management Support/Coaching 2-5 years’ experience
  • 2-5 years SAP Plant Maintenance experience (Planner level)
  • Strong SAP Plant Maintenance Business Process Skills
  • Problem Solving
  • Analytical Skills
  • Trade Qualified (minimum)
  • Strong people engagement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication presentation skills
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization, with frontline management
