Workshop Fitter

Barminco is one of the world's largest, hard rock mining companies with over three decades of experience. We are currently developing above 120 kilometres per year, and mining over 10 million tonnes on our multi-million-dollar fleet of underground mining equipment. With new projects forecasted, this will see Barminco and AUMS grow to over 5,100 employees in 2021, across 25 projects in seven countries.

About the Role

Barminco Ltd is currently seeking a suitably experience HD Fitter for our Hazelmere workshop based in Perth, WA with a strong focus on mining equipment repairs.  If you are looking for a break from FIFO work and want a change, then this job is what you are looking for.  Take pride in producing consistently high-quality work and you will be rewarded accordingly with an excellent hourly rate.

  Key Requirements;

• Experience working with mobile mining equipment, experience on underground equipment is an advantage
• Trade qualification
• Previous exposure to underground equipment
• A positive work ethic in line with company values
• Proactive attitude toward safety and hazed identification
• A valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• A valid National Police Clearance
