Core Responsibilities
Managing zero hour rebuilds on surface and underground equipment, delivered on time and within budget
Planning and coordinating day-to-day tasks for the workforce
Conducting inspections and maintenance safely and efficiently, ensuring all records and reports are accurate and up to date
Implementing and verifying safety control measures to mitigate operational risks
Leading daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and task-based risk assessments
Coaching, mentoring, and motivating your team to achieve high standards of workmanship and safety
What we need from you
Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy workshop and field maintenance, with supervisory experience.
Trade qualified HD Mechanic
Strong leader with a proven ability to recruit, motivate, and manage a team.
Focused on safety, able to identify risks and take action to reduce hazards.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mechanical skills.
Experience with mobile mining equipment and component rebuilds.
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Skilled in coaching and mentoring workshop staff.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning and organisation skills to monitor performance and schedule work efficiently.
